HERNDON, Va. (BUSINESS WIRE)

Artis, a high-technology development and manufacturing company, announced it will be displaying at the Orbital ATK booth at the 2016 meeting and exposition of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) to be held October 3-5 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.

“Orbital ATK is a valued partner for the Iron Curtain active protection system,” said Keith Brendley, CEO of Artis. “We look forward to this year’s AUSA conference and joining with Orbital ATK, showcasing our systems and unique capabilities.”

Artis, headquartered in Herndon, Va., was recently awarded an Army contract valued at up to $31.96 million to install its Iron Curtain onto a ground combat vehicle platform. Work under that contract began earlier this month.

“Iron Curtain is a global leader in APS technology, and the annual AUSA meeting offers a tremendous forum to communicate existing and emerging innovations and solutions,” said Brendley.

Artis personnel will be available throughout the AUSA conference and at the Orbital ATK booth, #6943.
